These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of FixBit. By using FixBit, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
1. What FixBit Does
FixBit is a local repair marketplace that helps users discover nearby repair shops, submit service requests, receive quotes, and communicate with shops. FixBit is not itself a repair provider and does not perform repairs.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and device access.
- You may not impersonate another person or business, or use the platform for unlawful purposes.
3. User Responsibilities
- Submit truthful repair request details and accurate device information.
- Use messaging and quote features respectfully and lawfully.
- Evaluate shops independently before proceeding with any repair transaction.
4. Shop Responsibilities
- Provide accurate business, service, and quote information.
- Honor represented prices, timelines, and repair commitments where applicable.
- Maintain any licenses, permissions, and operational compliance required for your business.
5. Payments and Transactions
FixBit does not process repair payments on behalf of users or shops unless explicitly stated otherwise in the future. Payments, negotiations, warranties, and repair outcomes are handled directly between the user and the shop.
6. Acceptable Use
You may not use FixBit to post false requests, scrape marketplace data, spam users or shops, distribute malware, interfere with live systems, or violate any applicable law or third-party right.
7. Verification and Moderation
We may review shop registrations, remove misleading content, suspend abusive accounts, or restrict access where needed to protect the marketplace. Verification does not guarantee a particular repair outcome.
8. Third-Party Content and Links
FixBit may display third-party content, reviews, media, or links. We are not responsible for third-party websites, services, or claims outside the FixBit platform.
9. No Warranty
FixBit is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect quote accuracy, shop responsiveness, repair quality, or outcome suitability.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FixBit will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from repair work, pricing disputes, or user-shop transactions.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to FixBit if these terms are violated, if misuse is detected, or if continued access creates legal, operational, or security risk.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updated terms become effective means you accept the revised terms.
